We all love Jim McDermott of Seattle--at least I do--a liberal congressman and a sometime poster here on Daily Kos, who happens to owe about a gazillion $$ because he did the RIGHT thing by the public. He has a Golden Backbone award, but that won't pay his bills...
August 20th is UnCaged Cabaret, Citizen Artiste's benefit for Jim. Cast Page. We hope to raise at least a drop in the bucket.
I'm the producer--also the promoter, graphic designer, webmaster, and costumer. So I'm kinda busy. Please recommend if you think I deserve it for working til my fingers bleed!!
I have yet ANOTHER project to accomplish that you hipper-than-I music-lovers may want to help me with.
I want to make CDs of eclectic background music to play before and after the show and during intermission, at least 2 hours worth. Don't want to use compilations of generic smooth jazz, though.
What background theme music would you choose for a liberal political/social, humorous/ironic event?
